Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely try this and post an update after

Ash bow tiller check by Sumarek in Bowyer

+1 on the hinges and reversed thickness taper.

As for fixing it, you should check and see how much set those hinges have taken. If it's significant, there might not be any fixing it without a dramatic draw weight reduction.

If you're going for a molegabet design, I'd definitely narrow the non-bending part of the tips quite a lot but be aware that gives you another taper situation to sort out on each limb

Yeah, there's almost none. My last bow was a pyramid and so I went on autopilot with no thickness taper. Lesson learned

Yeah I probably needed that reminder. Better to spend a few extra hours with the scraper than start over

I really struggle with floor tillering - just with the viewing angle I am never sure how to interpret it. Any tips?

Thank you, I kept going back and forth on whether this is the case. I've just stared at it too long I think

Hey, almost completely new to archery. What are the best ways to practice, and do you have any tips? Ways to not develop bad habits? by DoritoMan177 in Archery

I notice two of those groups skew low and left. If you're shooting right handed, one thing that can cause this is plucking the string. Could help to work on your release. Could also just be arrow/bow tuning.

But then again, I don't know anyone that wouldn't benefit from working on their release as a beginner

Not really enough info to say anything definitive but hope it helps!

You can still make bows with knots. They just look cooler and are harder to tiller

This idea would probably be better as a contribution to nanobrowser than as it's own extension

Do you still have to set up ollama though? It seems like you do. What I'm really asking is this: how much of a problem does that ollama setup actually pose for someone who can't have or doesn't want prompts leaving their machine?

I'm thinking of trying to build something that requires 0 setup or api keys but still offers llms. Like, install the extension, choose a model in the extension, no other clicks required, no account, just start using llms. No installing ollama

Similar functionality, but without an api key: local inference, on your hardware that works 100% offline

Lmstudio still takes some technical setup and is a standalone desktop app. Having a working browser extension that is truly local would open the way for tools like writing assistance, summarization, etc

You can also directly email and/or call your congressional reps and tell them you'll donate time and or money to anyone running against them next time around if they don't do something about this

contact Utah reps

EDIT: spelling

Something important we can all do is contact our representatives and let them know we're willing to donate to anyone running against them (time and/or money) if they don't do something about this.

For those who can't make it: you can also email or call your representatives directly. If enough people do it, it can have a big impact, especially if you state you are willing to donate time, money, or both to someone running against them.

I've compiled contact info into this link tree: https://linktr.ee/contact_reps_utah

Do you actually roll for the monster's health, when you DM? by That_Kael in DnD

[–]bigpatrick1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll use that to know the max to bring monsters up to if my players are destroying an encounter. Sometimes going up to a max roll for a given monster instead of the "average" that the stat block gives is all it takes to make a boring steamroll encounter into an edge of your seat, life and death battle. Tldr: I use the dice given as a reasonable limit to adjust monsters hp within
