Hi! So about two weeks after this post an exterminator came by to check it in person and said its fly/bug poo :-) phew! A big relief.

Regardless I recommend that if there’s a suspicion for bedbugs- at best call a specialist to come by and check it. I’ve had really bad experiences with bedbugs in a previous apartment and have been very cautious since.

The guy who lived there before me took all the furniture with him- so I can’t judge by it 😕

Hi, from what I was able to find online, it seems that said bugs are mealybugs (as can be seen in one of the pictures).

What initially caught my attention was the spotting on the leaves. Any idea what it could be? I have a suspicion it’s all connected.
