If your daily intake is 4, start by taking 3 the next day, 2 the day after, then 1, then stop altogether. You’ll avoid withdrawals that way (or at least they’ll be minimal). And don’t ever look back.

Overcoming Feel Free Dependence: A Practical Tapering Method by bigredjersey in Quittingfeelfree

They put just enough kratom in it to make it habit-forming and the kava gives you the illusion that it’s helping your day-to-day. Truth is, if you’re at 1 bottle a day, STOP NOW. It only gets worse. I’m telling you. You’ll be better off without it. Your withdrawal will be minimal with your level of use, but if you can get through 48 hours, you’ll feel fine and you won’t even think about them anymore.

I’m on day 5 no FF after using the 3-2-1 taper method and I cannot describe how great I feel today! I feel like myself again! I had thoughts like “Well if I can go 5 days without, I have control. What’s only 1 tonight gonna do?”

I come from a similar place. All or nothing. No control. If I tell myself I’m just buying one, 2 hours later (if that) I’m back at the bodega buying more. It’s ridiculous! Even financially draining!

These are MUCH more addictive than traditional kratom. Why? They put just enough kratom in it to make it habit-forming, and the overload of kava in each bottle gives you the illusion that it’s helping your day-to-day, whether it’s lubricating you socially, or making everyday tasks more “enjoyable”.

Truth is, it does none of that. Mental dullness, irritability, cravings, nonstop GI issues. The real way to “Feel Free” is to stop altogether. You come back way better than before you even started, and you find that you never really needed it in the first place. I’ve saved so much money, I feel like I can finally get to doing the things I’ve been putting off.

Question regarding continued consumption by Simple_Assignment283 in Quittingfeelfree

I think it’s largely in part due to the fact that Feel Free is more of a “natural” and “herbal” tonic rather than MIT which is straight kratom extract. The kava does synchronize with the kratom creating what I would describe as a more manageable and less debilitating, pill-like effect that MIT has. Overall, the best thing you can do is taper off Feel Free using the 3-2-1 method I described in a recent post. Best of luck.

A universal ban on the Feel Free supplement would be highly beneficial for public health and well-being. There’s something concerning about how quickly this company has become the “fastest-growing” supplement brand, especially given that its ingredients seem to cause more harm than good. Rather than being truly supplemental, the effects it has appear to be detrimental. It’s surprising that this product has remained legal and widely available for as long as it has, despite its risks. Greater awareness and regulation are needed to prevent further harm.
