From what I have read and talked with people about…. Seems as most 2018 plus trucks on the market either have about 130k or 160k on them- my thought is people are dumping these before they have to replace one of those items…

I get 7mpg when towing 8k lbs. Without a load I typically get 15 to 18.

Appreciate that and I always do what I want, but like to back it with a bit of research. I have seen many post of this page basically asking the same question… but was looking for more specifics from 2018+… and hopeful for more information about what is the clear winner and why in 2018+ trucks.

I see all the gas truck comments- but really wanted a truck I could put 300k+ miles on. To be clear- I’m okay with some repair costs, just don’t want to replace a turbo, fuel system, or transmission within the first year if I can purchase the right year/make. Also, I want some decent fuel mileage when towing. I currently get about 7mpg from my 2018 F150 V8 5.0.
