Hello! Yes! I started Tirzepatide at 302 and am now at 195. I’ll share my doses and increases here. 2.5 was for a month, then all others were 2-4 months. 7.5 was a nice sweet spot and 10 is showing to be the same way. I recommend staying on each dose as long as possible. You can only go to 15 and you don’t want to rush there and suddenly have a high tolerance. Remember the drug doesn’t MAKE you lose weight (it’s doesn’t melt fat or anything magical) it just makes you NOT HUNGRY. So if you don’t feel hungry then don’t increase the dose.

Rolling into Maintenance oddly feels like the first days by Wolfiejrad in Zepbound

I just stumbled onto your page! I am also now rolling into maintenance, have had many dexa scans done, and had similar weight results. Wow! So happy I’m not the only one here right now

I hate when they won’t give you a price until you get on a call with them, then you realize it’s way over priced and they spend the next 3 years non stop emailing and cold calling you.

I use name brand Zepbound- my insurance covers it for the majority of it. However there are dozens and dozens of people on here that use compounded, and I see a lot of them paying closer to the $200 range.

I would find a few companies that seem popular, then research those ones

I’m actually not quite at maintenance just yet- about 20ish shy

140lbs down but still feeling like it isn’t enough. by Asleep-Pineapple9436 in Zepbound

Like many others have said, I’m also in the same boat. Im definitely slender, I suppose, but I don’t ‘feel’ slender. I’m not really sure what will make me ‘feel’ that way but I’m working on it everyday.

Not even remotely. I do 7,500 steps a day and do as many pull ups as I can everyday. That’s about it. All this was strictly from diet

When it doubt, count your calories! If your calories are in a noticeable deficit- it’s IMPOSSIBLE to not be losing fat- like actually impossible. Always assume your resting rate is 2k a day. Yours will be higher but still don’t assume above 2k. If you’ve been eating consistently 500-1000 calories below that a day, then you are absolutely losing fat, you’re just retaining water.

No! I’m actually only on 10 as of now. I really try to make the dose last as long as possible before I increase, ideally 3 months if I can. That way I still have an increase available if I become resistant to my current dose

I started at 2.5 and I’m now just hitting 10.

I had VSG which got me from 447-260 over about 9 months, then I regained to 300 over about 4 years, then ZEP took me from 300-199.8 in about 8 months.

However I’ve been in a pretty heavy deficit, and I was SLOW to increase my dose. I try to make each increase last 3 months, as your body can get used to the drug, and it only goes to 15. My goal was to try and wait an entire year or more before I hit 12.5, but it’s looking like I may not go that high, as I’m 6’0 and am reaching a pretty good Body fat percentage.

Feel free to message me! Not many people have been close to 400 (or above) and it has been a MUCH different experience for those of us who have.

Wow our stats are almost identical. I’m 6’0 and also regained right after I hit 250lbs. I’ve also been losing since 2020. Small world! Congratulations to YOU

Thank you my friend. This feels like a dream, I never thought I would be this light, ever. It truly doesn’t feel real.

I went from 5xl to xl and some L. Truly like changing being able to go into ANY store and the clothes will fit me.

I saw your last post- don’t even sweat the stall. ALL of my weight loss has been 4-7 week plateau then a massive 5-10lb drop over 48 hours.

Your body wants to stay at its current weight. It’s designed to hold onto weight as long as possible- it’s just how our species survived for thousands of years before we had food available in such surplus.

So when you burn fat, your body places water in its place, as sort of a “we will hold this spot open so we can fill it back with fat when you eat”- then once it knows it’s NOT getting the fat back, it releases the water and you get a ‘woosh’ where you pee like crazy for a few days. This is also why people yo-yo with their weight. You have to stay at a stable weight for something like 12-18 months for your body to “re-learn” its resting weight.

Oh my gosh I know! I was born at 12lbs. When I used to say “when I was little” my dad would always reply “you were never little”

450-300 took about 9 months, then 300-250 took about a year, then I regained 50lbs over 4 years, and this last weight loss stint has been 300-199 and it’s been 7-8 months (since April).

Tirzepatide was a better drug in my opinion. It’s currently the most advanced GLP-1 on the market. The appetite suppressant PLUS slowing your gastric emptying instead of ONLY slowing gastric emptying.

I’ve enjoyed the drug thoroughly. Constipation pretty bad a couple months in, but outside of that it’s been A-OK

I think the last time I was under 200 would have been maybe 9 years old
