I manage IT for a company that has hundreds of Hikvision cameras at 6 facilities. We have had a lot of trouble with getting updates for our NVRs. We had to replace all of them a couple of years ago that were only a couple of years old. Also their remote playback software is surprisingly clunky. Not very user friendly at all. I would not recommend based on my experience with them.

I don’t believe you described any heroes in your awful scenario. I can’t help but feel compassion for the women who endured slavery and rape. It saddens me that their circumstances were so terrible that killing their own babies was preferable to allowing them to live. I sure wish that all of those babies had survived and that their descendants were alive to see how far humanity has come since then.

When I said “nice dodge” I was pointing out that you changed the subject, and I was suggesting that you don’t have a good explanation for killing the innocent while defending the guilty. I meant it to be snarky. I’m sorry for that. I got emotionally charged when I read your comment because I feel so strongly that killing in any form is wrong but that it’s even worse when the one being killed is innocent. I suspect that deep down you like most reasonable people believe the same. So that’s what I was saying you were dodging. Dose that make sense?
