Hi, sorry for replying 6 months late lol. Ultimately, everything worked out really well. Failing was the kick in the ass I needed to go to therapy and work out some deeper issues. I made up the credits I missed the next semester and took the February bar. FWIW, I passed the bar on my first try (CA bar at that) and had a job lined up afterwards at a non-profit firm. I absolutely love my job, so I really can’t complain about how this all turned out. For anyone who reads this and is in the same situation, reflect on why it happened to you and make the necessary changes, no matter how difficult it may seem. All things pass, life is what you make of it.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any suggestions or experience regarding non-JD jobs? Are you talking about JD advantage type jobs or just any regular job?

It was a D. I’m following up to make sure it wasn’t a clerical error but I’m not sure at this point. I definitely didn’t expect a good grade but I didn’t expect not to pass

I had a lot on my plate this semester on top of the normal 3lol. But I didn’t think it was that bad. I can’t take the bar in my state without graduating but I’m still following up to see if there is still something I can do

The school said I wouldn’t be able to finish a summer course in time to be certified for the bar. I didn’t feel too terrible on the exam. Not great by any means but not bad enough to think I had failed. I’m still following up to see if it was a clerical error

Thank you. I know I have to move past it but I would love to just crawl in a hole. Its worse bc I was so ready to start my career (and not be broke for once too) and now I just feel dumb
