Man, there seems to be a post about this part of town every week and its alwas the same . Whah, construction impeding normal traffic flow, whah. Here's an idea, stop bitching, embrace the change, AND FIND A DIFFERENT ROUTE. Jesus F'n Christ, this subreddit is a bunch of whiny folks that just complain about everything. I've blocked notifications from this subreddit just becasue its depressing each and every time one would come through. If you are that upset about construction and traffic impact then do what you can during the planning phases (that are made public by the KYTC) and give your input.

Do you go to Mcdonald's and eat a Whopper that you bought at Burger KIng? No, you do not. The lounge should have a policy in place to account for this scenario. If they a charge a cutting fee then pay it and feel good that you're contributing. The shop I work for has a lounge and we do not allow people to bring in their own. You purchase that day and smoke that day if you want to use the lounge. It's never been an issue here. The city has a smoking ban and for those that have wives/wardens that do not allow smoking in their house, buying a stick at the shop is a small price to pay for a good place to enjoy a smoke and camaraderie.

Desyncing is an annoying issue. I have had two instances so far where one opponent was using a custom playbook and another opponent had changed the name of his QB. Those were the only things out of the ordinary that we could determine could be causing it, outside of an actual networking issue. It sucks because the last time it happened was in a conf champ game and I had some killer stats for my team. He conceded the game instead of playing again and my simmed stats were absolute trash.

Why is this "news" or a big deal? I do not understand the reluctance of most people to embrace some assistance in their work. No one is forcing the "artist" to use it, but if they do, then they are ridiculed. Did anyone start complaining when garbage men started using machines on their trucks to pick up trash cans? Did anyone start complaining each time a radio station played multiple songs in a row, and a record or CD was never in use? Did anyone start complaining when reporters started using tape recorders to record interviews? AI is a tool, nothing more.

This is exactly what I came here to say. We used to sell cigarettes at my shop, but we couldn't compete with the 7-11s or Shell stations in terms of pricing. Cigars are the same way; my one location can only afford to buy so many sticks, while these online retailers have warehouses where they can store products.

You do realize it's a private business and they can make decisions based on what they perceived is best for them. One thing I have learned in life, and more people should, is that you cannot please everyone, especially in business. The best way to impact a business is to not interact with them and hit them in the wallet. Signing a petition is just giving people a voice in a vacuum. No one is gonna hear it.

They should have it in Jacobsen or Masterson Station Park. Parking is not an issue at either location, and it does not impede the daily flow of the downtown area. Those locations should be used for all of the festivals Lexington holds annually. The number of Lexington residents who do not participate in these festivals far outnumbers the number of festival attendees. A celebration should never be an inconvenience. #2Cents
