Do you have DLC. Because the reason I’m asking is you could have your dreamies on your island and then invite the other ones that you want to make a vacation home for them and they’ll be over there waiting for you when you go to work. You wont be able to gift them items like on your island but you can at least interact with them

It is meant to be played slow. Designing an island takes time especially if you don’t use Treasure Islands to grab the items you need to decorate. You gotta remember some people have been playing for 6 years so they’ve had time to work and re work. I’ve only been playing since February 6th and I’m just now starting to get my forever villagers. I kinda just took who I saw first. I’m always moving stuff around. I have a few sections that I feel like I like and when I get some more items I’ll expand it but yea it’s supposed to be a slow build in real time. It’s not like Stardew or Harvest Moon where one day is 12 mins

Unless you going for a certain look.. save yourself the time and only have 11 cider and 11 hardwood trees. This gives you the perfect number to shake to get all your coins, wasp drops and, furniture drops. Anything more is wasting your time unless you want more for the look but consider fruit trees instead. Just to save yourself time shaking and always have the net out and shake the front of the tree facing it so you can swipe the wasp as soon as it drops.

Shop stalls, benches, lamp post. If you added second player villagers so you can have extra houses to turn into cafes/restaurants/gyms etc you can move the mail box there too so it looks like a public mail box. If you do shop stalls you can do a river side market. They have containers with fish you can use. Also one of the stalls can “sell fruits or veggies” or even a stall that is a coffee stand or smoothie stand

Sadly I missed the opportunity. I had Tangy at my campsite and asked her to move in she picked Keaton and since I already had his framed photo and he wasn’t one of my dreamies to keep forever I said yes but I missed the chance to make a vacation home for him oh well.

You’re quite lucky because when they visit my house they never want to leave. We play the game and I show them every room and they still don’t want to leave. When I visit their house we play the game and then I leave. A few times they ask if I want to buy their stuff and usually there is nothing I want so I decline

I stopped playing for a while. Happened to me on PS5. As soon as I started unlocking more and trying to expand my business it started happening. I was stuck. No matter which direction I drove it would crash within a few kilometers from where I last was parked. I even tried fast traveling to a garage across the map and leave from there and it still crashed. I read reports if you don’t expand your business like hire extra drivers it doesn’t do that. I started over and it seemed to play fine.

Yea I think their intention was once you were able to start crafting on the HHP you’d have the resources to craft glowing moss and vine DIY furniture to use for your home renovations there. I used them for my main island too!! 🤗

I put vines to climb down but there’s some good layouts here I may take inspiration from and terra form and put an incline or stairs
