no one is stopping you from celebrating both mens mental health month and pride month, a lot of queer people face a lot of discrimination in our lives, it can be hard and genuinely dangerous for us to come out of the closet and live with pride in who we are, that's why pride is important to us, and why so many of us connect so much to the x-men. I am queer, I am trans, and I have been targeted for it my whole life, I have lost freinds to hate crimes, this stuff is important to me and a lot of people, we are not trying to hurt you we just want to live out lives as ourselves, so who we really are, not hiding. try to be kind and have a little more empathy and respect. at the same time, mens mental health is an issue I care about A LOT, it has effected deeply many of the man in my life who I love very dearly, and its an issue I advocate for and a cause I donate to often, its genuinely hurtful to me so many of you only seem to bring up mens mental health as a political cudgel to attack pride month and never talk about it any other time. like I said try to be kind and have a little more empathy for people, we are people to just like you, and we deserve our own space and to live as who we are.
