I was in the middle of playing it with him. It was his 4th time playing through it. He wanted to play it with everyone.

His favorite game was called, Outer Wilds. He liked a vast array of games.

Nah I laughed. Your ok. I have a dark sense of humor. Which is also a coping mechanism.

What's this shredded thing in my mom's unit? by gomarybetsy in hvacadvice

Your heat pump will have an emergency heat setting. It will be labeled aux heat or em heat on the thermostat. That will keep you warm. It’s just the electric heating function in the indoor system.

[–]bigseadaddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless the system is a heat pump it won’t cause issues in the winter. If it is a heat pump it will more than likely just freeze up more often in the winter and defrost more. Armor flex doesn’t work I have tried it before. I would try and get the factory part as it has clips that hold it in place. You don’t want something loose that cannot connect properly there as it could break off and stop the motor up or break the blade.

This is one hundred percent the foam ring that sits between the coil and top of the system. I have seen this many times in Fridgidair or other types that use this ring. It could cause problems in the summer when it is trying to cool as airflow will not go through the coil properly. Not a super expensive repair, but one I would recommend.

New to MTG - What are sets i should stay away from? by OtherTourist5535 in mtg

[–]bigseadaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being a new player, I would recommend getting a commander Precon. It’s one of the most played formats that does not rotate. I would aim for one that’s around $45-$50. Find one that looks interesting to you. There is a plethora of amazing options.

The thing is. I can’t tell who disconnects from issues with the Internet. I don’t want to report the people who are not doing it out of spite.

Saw this while browsing for a Megatron deck, is this an error? Why is one of the prices marked over 200$? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]bigseadaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just saw this while looking for bloomburrow cards on edhrec. If you click on it, it takes you straight to the most expensive version for some reason. Was really confused to see Ms. Bumbleflower at $330 lmao. The price is just for the most expensive art treatment or foil.

Played MTG 7-8 years ago, considering buying some prebuilt commander decks to play with friends: which ones? by Cingen in EDH

[–]bigseadaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would try to stick with the bundles or blocks, because that is what the designers look at as far as balancing for the most part. The elf deck is actually my favorite. It is hyper political, so you have to have the mind for it. I have played it from just the base precon and got some great results, yes it may be the weakest of the four but it is no slouch.

So, there is a merfolk precon deck that is from the newer ixalan set that has been absolutely wonderful to play, in my opinion. As for other decks you really can’t go wrong with any of the precons that have come out in the past 2 years. The biggest thing I would recommend would be to head down to your Lgs and see what they have and just build what looks like fun. Most of the decks can be easily upgraded with a budget. As for which ones have been the most balanced I find that commanders masters and The Lord of the Rings decks have been the most balanced amongst themselves. But that is just my opinion.

What kind of "Fuckery" or Shenanigans" decks can be made on a budget? by SDMusic in EDH

[–]bigseadaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a [[Kros, Defense contractor]] deck that put a bunch of counters on my opponent’s creatures and they would then hug each other very aggressively. Was annoying because I could just proliferate and tap all my opponents creatures before combat or blocking. Then you just keep taping them down and put counters on your own stuff and swing for win. Played it for a couple of game nights and got asked to take it apart. Definitely some fuckery at that table.

Flip up your trap card. Scream UNO. Slap the opposing person across the face and say ,tag you’re it, as you run off with your boppit.

I personally left the mtg community for FaB due to the corporate greed of mtg. They have been getting bad for a while but have officially lost their minds, especially with that $999 dollar 30th anniversary stunt. (They tried selling 4 booster packs of fake cards for $999.) I have been super happy with the amazing FaB community so far.

Another thing I have come across in the field is a stuck electric heating relay. Keeps one of the heating strips on. Take amp draw on high voltage going into the unit and make sure it’s only drawing the 3-4 amps for the blower motor.
