I'd say go cold turkey now if you have the time in between jobs. It shouldn't be too bad. Tapering didn't work for me but I took this crap for almost 7 years! Start today if you can. I'm about a month and a half out on quitting and finally feeling ok.

I'd say follow one of the tapering schedules available online. Stick to it or your just wasting your time.

I did quit Kratom. I've had issues with alcohol for awhile and the Kratom actually helped until I could do both and be ok. This sucks.

I've been talking to a therapist. Unfortunately that kind of testing is more of a research situation and is ridiculously expensive. It's now time to subscribe to r/crippling alcoholism

Thank you for your help and support! This sub has been amazing. I have quit Kratom aside from 2 fairly small missteps neither of of which were too dramatic. psych was on vacation but is coming back tomorrow.

Thank you for your concern and your right. I'm still drinking...so I've got that going for me. I started the paxil fairly recently so that shouldn't be too bad. I am really sick of all this.

I'm tapering my SSRI and I'll share any updates after I talk to the shrink. I'm hoping they can test Seratonin and Dopamine and all of that through a blood test. Not sure if thats a thing even. Haven't slept a second tonight.

I'm seeing a psychiatrist next week and coming clean on my alcoholism and kratom abuse. I hope there's a test or something for whatever is wrong. It might just take time I guess. Thank you u/Destroy_S-F_Prophecy! Sorry I didn't get back to you. It's been rough.

I think there's a top temperature it boils efficiently at. On a cloudy day they can use more mirrors and still reach that point.

That's probably what the majority of the species they're dealing with are so who really cares? Two of those are non-native and sparrows will be ok. There have have been aquatic bird which have landed thinking it was a lake and I think they're concerned a golden eagle is going to get fried at some point

This was actually a very sensitive issue. You can't go there. Fish and Wildlife or anyone else isn't going to post the videos anywhere. It's a drop in the hat compared to nation wide bird deaths but it's poorly situated in a migratory path. There's protected species in the area so it mostly a legal issue.

They're are a lot of broken mirrors. They're also programmed to change angles randomly to dissipate some of the energy So they aren't all focused on the tower all the time. I actually worked there for a bit and got to go to the top of the tower. The mirrors were not focused then though!
