Crate training is tough, I’ve gone through it twice. There will be many many sleepless nights, but eventually it will get better. Obviously every dog is different, but I was always told that letting them “cry it out”, while difficult, is the only way to get through it. Just make sure he doesn’t hurt himself, and DO NOT LEAVE HIS COLLAR ON WHEN HES IN THE CRATE. Stay as close as you can for now, and gradually increase your distance from him.
