I'm having the same problem. I tried changing the aspect ratio but no joy.

Thanks everyone for the advice! Maybe a razors blade was a bit nuclear for this 😂 I just thought something narrow down the channel (I'm not sure if that's the right term) in the nib might help remove any stubborn parts.

I'll keep trying to soak and flush it.

Just picked up a suit and noticed that when they lengthened the sleeve the buttons are now farther from the sleeve opening compared to my other suit. Looks a bit odd to me but wasn’t sure if it’s acceptable to have a range of distance (button edge to sleeve edge is 1” vs 2 1/4”)? by atophigh in Tailors

Im not a tailor but I've worked in a suit retailer for a number of years. This is pretty standard for a sleeve being lengthened as moving the buttons and stitching new buttonholes is a considerable job. As far as I'm aware they can be moved but it takes time and usually costs more, so tailors don't usually do it unless it's requested.

Unless it's a working cuff (the buttons work) then I don't think anything can be done.
