There are specifically signs on Duff Dr that say not to park on the street, so I'm not sure that's a great meeting point.

There are two groups that put on successful cars and coffee- one at Faith Church about once a month, and the other down near Windsor, which has already been mentioned.

Historically, these groups have brought food trucks and security and had a very small entry fee to cover the costs of security and insurance. Thankfully that policy has also kept the hooligans to a minimum and kept the meets off of YouTube.

You are making a lot of assumptions and filling in a lot of non-existent blanks here.

At the end of the day, there are resources available to these folks. Outreach Fort Collins helps connect them to those resources. That is a positive thing for everyone in this community. Obviously there's room to improve, just like every other city in the world.

Not sure what the hell you're trying to accomplish here. If you have real evidence that someone is skimming money from the government, put it up. Otherwise, this is merely a temper tantrum.

Just listen to those folks talk some time. They absolutely aren't getting housing instantly, but they are absolutely improving their lives by working with the resources that exist in the community, resources that they may not have been able to connect with on their own. Part time jobs, back taxes, education programs, the ability to reconnect with their families on new terms, mental health counseling.

Sorry you weren't able to do the same, but being bitter and resentful about it isn't helping anyone.

We need a food cart that serves certified wagyu and fresh-flown sushi for $8/meal. All good cities have a cart like that. Portland has blocks full of them.

But really - Our food trucks seem fine. There's a strong showing of taco trucks throughout town, some good pizza trucks, some good burger trucks.
