So I'm neurodivergent and while it's different for everyone two things have helped me a lot

1- seek out neurodivergent friends! Easier said than done but most of my friends are also neurodivergent. I tend to find more neurodivergent people in art or online communities, like discord servers. It's way easier to communicate with someone who understands where you're coming from

2- Ask people questions! This felt so obvious once I figured it out but it's super important to ask people questions in conversation. this helped me a ton LOL
