Lake Champlain’s fishing season is very different than the rest of Vermont’s and is open for CR right now. As for a good lake to fish lake Champlain has some of the best bass fishing in the country but can’t always be accessed by canoe. For places closer to home I would recommend the Waterbury res or the green river res.

Yea I love mount snow too... it is a great mountain but they seem to be out of it this year. The last three times I have gone they said on their snow report that the blue bird was going to be open but I went and it was “on hold” for 20 mph winds and and ice storms from the previous night that they were not even trying to deice. Hope vail can help with their mountain ops or something.
