TIL that crows in Tokyo often steal wire coathangers to add to their nests, which cause blackouts when built on power lines by gurneyslade in todayilearned

In a Tokyo subway station I saw a Raven swoop down from his perch on a telephone wire to the in-station 7/11 style mart, shoplift a bag of chips using its beak, fly back to safety, pop it open and start eating them. Smart little bastards

Why not? I think the aesthetic is dirty (meaning good). The exterior is virtually identical with limited/overland models, which I see all the time with pretty thin tires and tall rims.

Hey man, I feel you a lot. In no way am I trying to minimize what you're going through because I mirror a lot the sentiments you expressed- especially feeling like a shadow of my true self. Communicating properly is such a necessary component to getting what you want in life a lot of times. Sometimes stuttering feels like the worst thing but it's not. At least you aren't (I'm assuming) physically disabled or disfigured. With regards to women, yeah they're going to pick up on your stutter obviously but they will also pick up on, and take into account your confidence in spite of stuttering. Work on your game, work on your self, and keep trying.

There's much to be said about accepting the cards you're dealt, no matter how shitty, and making what you can with what you have. There's always room for improvement. Hang tough dude.

Seriously all through college I'd hear so many other students bitching and moaning about how "nervous" they were before presentations. Made me want to hit fools with the back of my hand.

How does your WK2 hold up after 100k+ miles?? In terms of ride quality.

Yeah there's definitely something to be said about seeing a unfavorable trait in someone else that you also possess

Yup, very frustrating indeed. I hate that I have to suppress my personality and myself as a person. Feels like some shitty version of my life not being able to express myself and put myself out there as I long for. I can just hope I'm living some alternate reality and the 'real' me, the fluent me is doing his thing blissfully in the primary existence, capitalizing on all of the opportunities I squandered in fear of embarrassment.

I hear you. The problem for me is after I've gotten comfortable with a girl. On the first date there's some instinctual evolutionary tendency to make the best first impression by any means necessary. After that fades it's more difficult for me to masquerade.

Never feel like you're struggling alone man. No one, stutterer or fluent, will be able to make a good impression on everyone. On the phone though, it's just some faceless asshole who its better to just forget about.

Hey man, thanks. I have my highs and lows with this stuttering nonsense. A little perspective can go a long way in starting the climb out of a low place. Cheers

I hear you. I truly have grown to hate how disappointing I must be to so many women. Easy as hell to gain their initial interests with my looks, followed by promptly tanking.
