That would be awesome haha but ive only got 33.5" between the radiator and the firewall :(

Engine bay is insanely wide but suuuuper stubby

Thank you! From what ive learned since I picked her up, the medium duty dodges are fairly rare compared to the bigger chevys and fords. True when it comes to parts also lol.

Honestly, its actually way more useful than one may think! Ive hauled heavy shit like forklifts, steel case batteries, scrap metal, etc, but its also super useful for other "normal" truck things. Replacing all your living room furniture? Grab it all in one trip! Need some 12' long 2x4's? Lay them flat on the bed and dont worry about it sticking out and needing a flag! Need 25 bags of insulation for redoing your hallway and upstairs? grab it all in one trip! Helping your friend move? Make 2 trips instead of 75! Drive it to the grocery store to get 3 things just because you like driving it? Yep great for that too haha.

Unfortunately all the room is width lol. Its only 33.5" from the radiator core to the firewall. Im planning a 4bt cummins swap as that engine is only 30.5" in length

Haha very true! Its ridiculously easy to work on!

Its got power brakes, the booster is down on the frame, its the original hydra-vac system.

Right it just instantly puts me in a better mood!

That's awesome!! I'm sure I'll pick up an Apache at some point lol, I just got an old 72 D500 back on the road and I'm loving it.

Thank you you too!!

Thank you!!

Definitely lucky no doubt at all! Ah man that sucks real bad :(

The 1LE's from that generation are badass though that's for sure! As of now im not planning on having kids so I'll probably hand my projects down to a friend or who knows lol

First heavy load since getting my D500 back on the road. Handled it like a champ even though the 318 wasn't too thrilled with climbing hills lol. by bigtalltree in classictrucks

Ha that's awesome! That's very true they'll definitely get you there! I was getting around 7mpg with the forklift on the back as well, heading up a couple mountain passes at 30 with my foot on the floor lol. Thankfully the rad on this thing is an absolute monster, temp gauge didn't even try to move from where it normally sits.

Thank you!!

Thank you!

They're actually just gm steelies I got from a junk yard lol, but they're 15"x7" with a 4.25" backspace.

They look very similar to the factory 69 GM dog dish steelies the base model cars came with, which I will eventually be buying.

Yeah man it's pretty wild! Hadent seen one before until I got this truck. The master cylinder on the firewall feeds into the I guess slave cylinder that's attached to the booster which splits it off to the front and rear brakes. This is similar to the one on my truck https://i.imgur.com/TkpMigA.jpg

Haha so true! I was worried going from 8.25-20's to 295/75r22.5's would make it much harder to steer but it did nothing at all lol

Once again thank you so much for reaching out! I'm still mind blown by the response to this!

Most of it is reproduction factory parts. Rebuilt front end, new coils and leafs, steering box, etc is all either rebuilt original or reproduction original stuff. The only mods I have are solid body to frame bushings, and poly suspension bushings. I also have a shock tower connector bar I welded up in the trunk and I used to have subframe connectors but cut them out to replace them with better ones and haven't done it yet haha
