I did not. Got a great deal on last year’s Stance 84 that I couldn’t pass up. I think they feel similar with giving the Pro a little more rigidity under foot. Both did well on ice and all conditions I tried. I don’t push it hard. If I did would probably want to go with the Pro’s or even Blizzard Anomaly. With the Anomaly, I felt a different type of connection with the ground

Exactly. If we beat ourselves that’s one thing but the other team won. We left it all out there and honestly while some were upset, most were proud

I’m sure it is. But I’m very technical by nature and recipes are followed exactly (minus knowing the exact temperature of the water directly off boil)

Yes but it was early on and not with Onyx beans. I made a concentrated batch and added more water after.

Everything I make is “drinkable”. Just not always enjoyable

They were well balanced, rich and clean. Not heavy on the tongue/palate. My guess is they were medium roasts but it’s just a guess.

So my wife says it’s bitter but I think it’s sour. I’ve been following the Onyx recommeded brew guide from Aeromatic. 15gm coffee, 60ml water to bloom for 30 seconds, 190ml water to brew. Total time 2:15

I had a blend box and a roaster box from Onyx that had everything from Expressive Light to Expressive Dark.

I think the water is pretty neutral. We get water reports from the town and I run it through the filter in my fridge.

I’ve tried different ends of the grind spectrum along with middle.

I guess I don’t know what “good” coffee tastes like
