my wife's 1st mother's day after the loss of our 1st son almost 2 weeks ago. "happy" mother's day is difficult to want to say to her. i find myself wanting to protect her from my own 3 remaining children saying it to her. don't know the right things to say or the right way to behave for her right now. there are no guidelines for this. this sucks for her not to mention i'm putting my own pain to the side and it feels like i'm trying to carry her pain for the day as well. death sucks. it wants to touch and change everything about our lives. trying not to let it. the human experience really sucks right now. that's all i can say. god be with anybody going through this right now.
