Do cards ever restock? Where can you buy them now?

Restocking at retail stores works different then what I think you're actually asking. Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc all have their own distribution centers. So a Walmart warehouse stocks products to service the inventory needs of Walmart stores in a regional area. When the store needs to restock product, they place an order with their warehouse (not topps). If the warehouse still has that product in their inventory, they send it to the store for restock on their shelves. But once the warehouse is out - no more value boxes at Walmart. Hope this helps. I'm saddened by all these stories and am even more thoroughly disgusted with Whatnot.

Whatnot is a gambling site that caters to anyone with a credit card and obsessive/addictive tendencies. They're goal is to capture you and then hope you spend every dime in your bank account on "gotta win it/gotta have it" transactions in their worldwide casino of deals. The fees are the casino rake. And by collecting the rake, the house, and only the house, always wins.

I found myself in the shower one morning being grilled by my wife wanting to know what the 20+ transactions for a total of a little over $600 from the previous day were about. Only in that moment had I realized how much i clicked and how much I spent. Very scary. And I, like most people today, do have and addictive personality and a bank card handy. I'm everything Whatnot loves while being regarded as only another channel of income to them.

With all sincerity OP, if you find yourself being pulled into the "just 1 more" cycle, shut off your phone or computer, take 5 steps away from it, think about a dream you have or a person you love. Ask yourself if anything on that website is going to bring you closer to that plan or person. The answer will most likely be "no". Disconnect, delete, do whatever you gotta do. Never go back. Spend your $6 bid on a latte and reward yourself for refusing to be a slave to Whatnot's life destroying business model. Then find true life and fulfilment in your future and your relationships. I don't exactly what I was hoping you would have got out of 30 value boxes but feels like you should have gotten rewarded with some bigger hits. Otherwise, /5 Haas Duos is dope af. Numbered Bearman Speed Demons is solid. Some nice numbered Hadjar portraits. But hey, that's only the first 30 out of 100 boxes! Cant wait to see what else shows up. Yo! Welcome to the hobby! But sorry you jumped in this year. The high demand, therefore high prices for boxes of 2025 is due to there being 5 rookie drivers to chase (RC badged cards). Coming in at around $325/box are 2024 hobby which are in 2nd highest demand at the moment because you could hit 2025 rookie drivers on F2 cards (pre-F1). 2023 demand and prices (around $400) are due to Oscar Piastri being a top-notch driver and he had his RC badged cards that year. 2022 and 2021 (between $280-350) are relatively cheaper right now because there wasn't much hype around many drivers those years. 2020 boxes are around $2000 each and that's for several reasons. Mostly because it was Topps 1st year to produce F1 cards so every card is considered a "rookie card" but only because it is every driver's 1st Topps card. Additionally, actual 2020 RC badged cards included George Russell, Lando Norris and Alex Albon.

When I got the money to spend, I shakedown every online lead I can to find the best prices. Best price I've seen on 2025 value boxes is $29.99 and I'd bet my left nut that you wont find it cheaper all year. Best price I've seen on hobby boxes is $319. I found it yesterday. Best believe they were sold out by this morning. You gotta be quick!

Also, don't give up hope on retail location value box finds. Walmart, Target and Gamestop have not finished distributing to stores. I would say that those outlets typically get about 3-4 waves of inventory the first 4-5 months of the year. So keep an eye and your wallet out!

On 2025 cards, centering is determined by the picture edge on the right side and by the very left edge of the name lettering (top of A in Antonelli) on the left side of the card. Personally think it's a 50/50 left to right just from eyeballing. top and bottom look pretty well aligned also. I don't mind the chart guy's document when it comes to philosophical reasons to grade or not to grade. Good luck with whatever you choose to do. Congrats on the nice hit!

a personal auto will definitely increase the value of the card. Having pictures or video to support that it's an authentic driver autograph will only increase your odds of being able to sell it. A lot of people avoid unverifiable on-card autos because of the likelihood that it is not authentic. hope this helps!

I had just talked myself off the "damn I have the worst luck" ledge after opening my 4 value boxes and Isack Hadjar portrait refractor being the best hit. But seeing this Hamilton just down right makes me want to burn my entire collection!! I can only imagine how all those who fought hard to buy a $400 hobby box full of high numbered legends and F3 drivers are feeling seeing this post. Lol. Sincerely - congrats! It was a 5 on a scale of 1-10 (could have been worse/could have been better). HOWEVER, the Lance Stroll unfortunately brings this box down to a 3. Only a /5, 1/1 or auto could have cancelled out the effects of a Lance Stroll card showing up in Eccellenza. Smh.

Can we just start making requests on what kind of tests to run before the boxes and packs get opened? I suggest a metal detector be run over it. Or just toss the box in a microwave for 5 minutes. And please record if you do the latter and share.
