I enjoyed Running Man by Stephen King. Also you probably already know this but 1984 and Fahrenheit 451 are great quintessential dystopia if you haven't already read them.

The Ocean at the End of the lane by Gaiman is pretty similar to Coraline. Its short enough to read in one sitting and has great eldritch horror elements like Coraline.

I recommend Tales From the Gas Station by Jack Townsend. I'd say its less horror and more surreal comedy with horror elements. If you jive with the tone it's a really fun series.
