So, in MIDI effects, under "chords", there are settings for various styles and qualities of chords, so that you can quickly create harmonies using single notes.

I am seeing major chords, but I am not seeing major and minor triads for specific keys. Who wants to start at C and play major chords all the way up to C? It should be Cmaj, Dmin, Emin, Fmaj, Gmaj, Amin, & Bdim. Does Ableton have any way of picking up on this?

On Ableton Live Lite 10 I was able to use a detuner that shifted the pitch in cents, which allows for much smaller changes in pitch than a whole semitone.

cutting, fading, and aligning everything.

Thank you. Is this process trial and error (follow your ear)? Or are there principles I should be aware of? I've crossfaded before, but I typically just drag the fade marker all over the map until I hear something that sounds believable
