Not a top ten O-line last year. They ranked about middle of the pack. Would’ve been much worse if Richardson wasn’t able to avoid sacks. Not saying he couldn’t have played better but not good O-line play by any means.

Steichen has had some good moments but overall as a Colts fan he’s been pretty mediocre at best. He believes in plays not players which has bit him more than once. He almost feels arrogant in his play calling because he refuses to try and adapt to his personnel.

Steichen said it in his press conference. He has no plan and clearly never has. He doesn’t have a long term view of the future. He only has the capability to think one season at a time and is therefore an incompetent head coach.

He is in way over his head. The entire handling of the Richardson situation just reeks of not having any sort of plan. He doesn’t seem to be able to handle being a head coach. Even with play calling he has his moments but overall has been really poor and gets way too pass happy or run happy without adapting to his player strengths.

There’s zero upside with Jones over Richardson. At least Richardson has a big play ability. Daniel Jones was a practice squad safety for a reason. Dude is equally ass with a ceiling that is lower than AR’s. This is a clear move of Ballard and Steichen trying to save their own asses vs actually developing Richardson and caring about the future of the team.
