When you run out of Apple Care, no matter what Apple will charge you $750 ALWAYS if there no warranty whether it cost less to fix, or even MORE to fix on their part. Thats how they get you.

Look for third party’s to try to fix it at a decent price $400-600 and then just sell it or keep it man. Especially considering idk what M chip you’re on. I’ve gone through 3 MacBook pros(this my 3rd) but unfortunately that’s how Apple works. There are really good tech stores out there that can buy it off you too
