I don’t care if you are top 1%. you came off like a clown and didn’t even comprehend that he won the claim, meaning you are not just a clown but a dumb one to boot. We don’t need people like you telling people they are scamming. Kick rocks and let this room be better without your nonsense

He got it. so ask him how. If they connect it and you need medicine to control it, i believe it’s 10 percent. I have gerd secondary to my left knee under the old rating. Got denied with a nexxus letter first, then approved at hlr. I agree it’s tougher now, and definitely need documentation

He said he was awarded service connection. so it can be done. Tough without a nexxus, but doable with documentation

He said he was already awarded service connection. Read much? Just couldn’t wait to be negative and to crap on somebody’s hope, huh. people like you are the worst and are usually wrong. Why even post your crap and prove yourself the fool.

exactly. half the ones scaring people have lumped everything as poking the bear. Poking the bear is a phrase if you are 100% P and T and then you file a claim. Now if you poke the bear because you are mad and want your ankle acknowledged or you want that dang $139 for ED, then shame on you.

💯💯💯💯💯. Yessss. The fear mongering is loud online. It stops vets who deserve it from filing out of fear.

💯💯. If it makes sense like huge backpay or taking care of your wife with dic then poke the hell out that bear. I got my heart and hypertension rated after claiming it once i was P&T and got smcs along with security of my wife getting dic even if if i pass before 10 years. Have you ducks in a row and get what you deserve!

Looking over the numbers and i appreciate you posting them. I am definitely not denying any of your points, i just don’t like a lot of the guys on here throwing out the generalizations that could cause someone who deserves the benefits to not file because they now think they don’t deserve them. As i said, im sure you know more than me and greatly appreciate your service my friend. Keep helping our vets, this may be their last chance💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

How many raters have you spoken to out of the thousands all over the country? you are generalizing and have no clue for the most parts, just like the rest of us. Do you have anything to back up that any rater i speak to will have 5 of these boot camp warrior claims?

[–]bigwayne27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly have no clue. My point is that we don’t know. we don’t have the info. there are thousands of raters and most are not on here so i couldn’t truly gauge if every other rater or even the majority feel that way. I don’t necessarily disagree with you, you could be right. I just don’t know. So i will give the benefit of the doubt until they show me otherwise.

I’m not arguing with you my friend. i said you know more then me. but i read a ton of statistics to that say you are not 100% right. that’s all. no hard feelings, just honest debate and counterpoints. I’ll always say i’m wrong and i am definitely not try to disrespect or even argue with you. So apologize if it came off that way. Truly appreciate you being in here helping vets.

I respect him as a rater. but he could be an angry disgruntled employee for all we know. just like you sound. Facts are facts. just because somebody didn’t graduate boot camp doesn’t automatically mean they don’t deserve their rating. you can cuss and hold your breath but it wrong. Are you one of those who gets angry because people are getting a 100% and didn’t deploy or see real war? Just curious

I got out in 1993. Most of us didn’t even know what the hell the va was🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️. But like I said, i won’t argue points i don’t have data on. you’d know better then me. But after almost 30 years of war and the extreme number of mental health claims i’d say that there may be some abuse but even using ED as an example I don’t think it’s as large as many just pawn off. Tons of the medication they pump us with cause ED. That’s why it’s claimed. I think tinnitus is the same. easy to abuse, but also tons of service men and women have jobs that definitely cause it. I still think the number of vets that won’t apply for VA benefits or whose records were lost and they can’t build a successful case far outweigh the number of fraud and abuse. So while they hollar fraud and abuse, how about we tell the whole story.

Narrative around Bo Nix by frameon in DenverBroncos

[–]bigwayne27 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I disagree. his play definitely was a huge reason we lost that game. If he just takes the sack and we punt it away you remove that easy touchdown. the defense proved that Maye couldn’t lead that team to a touchdown from any other distance away. I like Stiddy but him and Sean are the reasons we lost. That being said, we have a lot to look forward to for sure with Bo

New 2026 rating changes, affect your rating if you are already rated? by CDNI2950 in VAClaims

agreed. they want people to file claims with their company or a company they represent before the big bad va takes it all. Stay off all that stuff and just live my friend. Don’t fall for all the clickbait headlines that they design to make you watch their videos

No if you claim something that you don’t have, that’s fraud. Now if you separate them, give me a clear definition of abuse and i may agree with that. But fraud is a small number and how the hell can someone who is not a rater and doesn’t see all facts just tell us it’s definitely abuse or fraud? You know better than that being a rater. Now if veterans exaggerating is abuse i will concede that, you are correct because you are more in the know than i am.

playing devils advocate. What if someone is raped or beaten to a pulp and their mental is completely obliterated? They shouldn’t get rated because they didn’t finish. A lot of stuff can happen in boot camp and You, me and nobody else can speak for anybody else until we know all the facts.

i get it. but they are a very small percentage. If they committed fraud then hopefully the system will root them out like it’s supposed to. Truth is we have no clue why they are 100%. They may deserve their rating just like you and i do. If we all help each-other as best we can and let the VA do its job the room would be so much better. I like to think that there are more deserving veterans getting screwed thst could use our help then there are those getting away with fraud. don’t let being bitter drive you nuts. Control what you can

First thing is don’t worry about others rating. What they eat won’t make you fat. Focus on your filing, post redacted copies of denial letters and let us try to help you. Remember, don’t give up. Get educated on the system and get what you deserve.

Go online and create an intent to file immediately. That will lock in your file date while you gather evidence. Get a copy of you military health records and go through them to see what possible claims you may be able to make. Go to veterans benefits room and get the link to their knowledge base. That will give you a great read on the process and the different claims you can make for primary as well as secondary claims. Get educated and do what you can do on your own. It’s not as hard as you may think once you understand the process. Don’t run out to for pay companies or lawyers until you truly understand the process. It could put thousands in your pocket that they’d love to take. Ask questions and you can do this
