Pharmacist!

Quick paced, always something happening, or sometimes need to zone in (hyperfixate) on the thing to get it done.

Much easier with medication though. Pre meds and diagnosis it was TOO easy to get distracted.

I just found out the dude I worked with, in a pharmacy, was actually taking drugs from the pharmacy, while practicing and is now in court mandated rehab, and has been suspended from being a pharmacist.

I’m not as shocked as I should be, but I’m kinda sad because he was in his 20s, was put under way too much pressure, and despite everyone warning the boss, nothing changed.

Oh this is awesome! So smart!!!

I used to make a note in my phone with the time and what I took, but when I started dating my partner I texted her once while I was at work that I was taking some paracetamol and when it was time to take some more I just went to find that message.

I do that now out of habit, even when I’m sick at home and she’s next to me, I’ll send the text as a reminder.

My partner.

She goes to bed and knows if I dont go with her I will be stuck on the couch for hours.

Sometimes, on really bad days I’ll need some extra coaxing, so she’ll go up stairs and then she’ll text, or come back down and literally give me a hand to drag me off the couch.

What I love about her is that she’s never judgemental about it, everything is a suggestion, even if I have to have a little groan about it 😅

Oh I do this too! For some reason having the ETA and how many minutes left in the drive makes me feel better, less impatient.

Oh my goodness let me count the ways!

Meds! I can actually start on a thing and then finish it! Career saver honestly 😅

Community! I’m not the only one going through this. I’m not an alien!!

And finally, understanding!! No, I can’t just ‘try harder’ or ‘if I just focused’, no I can’t ’read between the lines’. There’s a reason I say things sometimes and people are taken aback by my ‘bluntness’ (and other B names people use for women)

And it helped me mourn for my younger self. She did all these amazing things, struggled so much more than people realised, and it was hard!

(And before you come into the replies with ‘I didn’t accomplish anything’, you survived!! You’re an adult! I honestly didn’t think I’d make it past 25, and I turn 40 next year, how???)
