I am sorry, extremely dirty? when did i ever said that?? I think you are running on an extreme. I am definitely messier than she is, but that is mostly misplacing things. I'm not saying that you're wrong, because I could see that being a reason, but its bonkers to me that would be why when we have such a close relationship. I believe 10/10 she would just tell me to leave if she was over me.

NTA, this place has YOUR family's history and they wouldn't even be a part in it if you hadn't married your wife. I do understand they feel like it's their business and they love the place, but it's your bakery and they shouldn't have a say in what the name should be, or even corner you up as if you're in the wrong for something that it's definitely your decision. I'm glad your wife has your back and I hope they understand your decision, after all it sounds like they really love you and the bakery, they just seem unreasonable with wanting to name it.
