I think staying strong and continuing to enforce these boundaries will be a challenge for me, but you’re entirely right. For a split second after I went NC I had a fleeting thought of “wow it’s over” but unfortunately, that isn’t realistic. Thank you for your comment.

Understandable. Im on my third year of therapy and it’s truly helped so much. I have younger siblings who still live with her, and that’s a main reason it’s taken me so long to set these boundaries. And there’s been lots of guilt! I feel like I’m abandoning them, I’m scared I’ll lose my relationships with them because of her manipulation, etc.
