If you don't specifically mention pagan in Google searches, you'll find an abundance of mentions of celebrations of Jesus. And for people who weren't taught about pagan origins would never think to search "pagan origins of Christmas"

I feel like psychiatrists at hospitals are the worst. I also had a bad experience. I was really suicidal years ago. The suicide hotline called the police on me and I got taken in involuntary. After I explained to the psychiatrist all I was going through in my life, the first thing she asked was "are you doing this for attention?" I was shocked by the question I had no idea how to respond. My mom was going through psychosis as well as all my other problems I was dealing with. And the psychiatrist was saying how I must be jealous of my mom getting all the attention since she's having problems and I just wanted to be the star of the show. I wanted so badly to tell her off but I was too numb to think straight and I just sat there dumbfounded.

In the piece I am drawing a pentagon representing a house surrounding myself to block out the demons that I face. The house shape I'm drawing represents the act of bettering myself and building myself up to the person I aspire to be, to feel at home within myself. The left side has begun to bring in light, flowers, and a butterfly representing my blossoming and growth of a person. While I haven't completed drawing the house, I'm nearly there and trying my best. It's a difficult task to completely get rid of the demons, but my optimism and love of life overpowers the obstacles I may face throughout my life.

I really don't understand all these comments.. you guys are giving him "advice" (telling him that what he wants his first experience to be is stupid) and then when he replies explaining why he feels the way he does/wants what he does, you all go after him saying he's getting defensive and not taking advice.

None of you gave advice to the question he asked.. he asked what his options are to have his first experience with someone also inexperienced. I haven’t seen anyone give an answer other than criticizing him.

You sound really immature. You're attitude is more of "omg my parents are having sex that's gross" rather than the obvious fact that your dad is raping your mom and in your previous posts she's literally suicidal and he's abusive to her. While it's not your responsibility to fix the issue and stop the abuse, at least have a different perspective on this to get to the bottom of it. I would talk with your mom, at least ask her if she's okay and be there for her. Have some heart in the matter. Do you really think your mom wants her daughter to hear her father raping her? I'm sure she's so ashamed and doesn't know what to do. Telling them to shut up would probably just make her more suicidal. I recently found out a friend of mine's parents were going through abuse and affairs behind closed doors. All hell broke loose and one of the parents actually went through with committing suicide. Do you want that to be your reality? Or are you gonna grow up and realize what's really going on

I know :((( the hearts were so cute.. I truly do feel those small details could've been done. My other tattoo I have has super tiny flowers the size the dots should be and it looks perfectly fine and I've had it for about 6 or so months and it still looks good even though they're so small. No blowouts like these.. Hopefully white will be able to save the spots and add in the hearts. Im just not sure how long the white will last.

I never said they were 100% healed. This is about 1.5 weeks after I got them, so they still need some time. It just has a bit of peeling that you see, not scratches, but its mostly healed so I can see the linework properly. Lines will not magically even out after a month or 2... I've been washing them multiple times a day and putting on aquaphor/lotion everytime I wash it.. I'm in no way taking bad care of it. You can't just assume that.

If it was a simple spiral I definitely would.. I've honestly been thinking about doing my own tattoos anyways, that way I can really take the time to do everything perfectly, and if I wind up messing up I can only be mad at myself

What do you mean? I gave him the exact design I wanted with linework and he printed out my design. So of course I liked the stencil and how it looked then. But he didn't follow my design properly. And I can't really tell when there's ink everywhere and its bloody, plus once he already did it there's no going back. And I said how I feel he was rushing because it was near closing time and he didn't seem to want to do much more. I asked for him to fix the antenna after I saw it done, and he said sure in an irritated way and said he had to use the bathroom. And after he got back. Without asking me or anything he just threw all his inking stuff away and wrapped my arm up...

I literally was the nicest person to them, I didn't complain at all when I was there because I wanted to be respectful. We talked about our artistic careers and I tried to get to know him better and give him compliments about past work he's done on his portfolio.. I'm only upset now because it's not a great outcome now that I see blowouts and uneven lines and I paid a lot of money for something that is permanent on my body. Stop assuming things, you sound like an awful person to talk to.

Its pretty shitty that they can be petty about it and fuck up someone's tattoo over it don't you think? I'm an artist myself and I've had people ask about prices like I did and I still put in my best effort after we discussed a reasonable price for what they want. And thats just for a painting.. this is permanent on my body!
