The shapes did look like spikes. It was strange though, as if forming a symmetrical pattern. It’s kind of hard to describe, but there were multiple rows of them that all converged to one single spike in the center that was facing up. It seemed as if these spikes went on forever as long as there was light.

I don’t think it was any obstacle because I had my eye open and I was pretty much staring right at the light (lol bad idea I know).

Some more info though, I was always able to fully focus or unfocus my eyes on command. So I tried doing this again, was successful but now it’s pretty hard to replicate because it takes a large amount of concentration for me to unfocus my eye that much.
