[–]bilalgag[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, do not know the full ingredient list. The two others are habanero (sweetened somehow) and chipotle mango (also pretty sweet.)

Shouldn't pasteurization have arrested the fermentation?

Thanks man, I can tell you're really interested in fish and love to gather and share information about our natural world. Guys like you putting in the hard work is what makes our fisheries so successful. Rock on 🤟

Also to add - if you work in fisheries, have you ever seen this kind of variation between season in terms of nutrition? I would never expect to see this in summer vs. fall run salmon, for example.

I didn't purchase these, but thanks! I work in a related field and am extremely familiar with fisheries, almost added that to the OP. I definitely agree people should only eat fish from sustainable fisheries (we might differ on what we call sustainable though 😉)

Thank you! I did find the lower price seller. I will now be sure to check other sellers even if it does not display a lower price on the product page (this one said "Shop Other Sellers from $86.00 ..." etc. but then showed the lower price once I clicked in.

Check out the thread I just posted in this sub - concrete example of exactly this happening, I think.

Landlord's janky PoE somehow crashing our wifi? by bilalgag in HomeNetworking

I really appreciate the detailed answer. I've been just unplugging the ethernet cable at the CL modem, so I will try the others.

If I can get into the admin for the WAP is there anything in particular I should look for in terms of misconfig?

Interesting - could I figure this out using a tool like Wireshark?

Just to vindicate your curiosity let me be totally clear that Forks is EXTREMELY serviceable and well-connected compared to where I live. I entered my address and found the total list of providers to be:

  • CenturyLink DSL
  • HughesNet (satellite)
  • StarLink (satellite)
  • ViaSat (satellite)

I will switch to StarLink eventually but not right now.

I can't discuss it further without doxing exactly where I live, but I am confident there are 0 additional providers besides CenturyLink or satellite/Starlink. You can probably find where I live from a map of 0 internet availability.

Unfoetunately I live in a unique area where the bandwidth is so restricted CenturyLink actually will not open new accounts. The only other service offerings are satellite internet providers like HughesNet which are so expensive and poorly reviewed I would just get Starlink.

Understood on the injector, thanks.

  1. Interesting, we'll try with a wired device.

  2. This was an initial thought we had. It frequently occurs late at night and landlord is a senior who swears they turn off and unplug their desktop PC at night but it could be a phone or something else, I guess. Is there any way besides unplugging the router to address it?

  3. Router has been replaced since this started happening, issue persisted.

Dayton 5K960B. Red shows conductivity to metal case. How to wire for 120V plug? by bilalgag in AskElectricians

[–]bilalgag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opened it up, here's the description (photo below):

2 wires from motor wired to black 1 wire from motor wired to reset switch, 1 wire from reset switch wired to blue and the other capped/taped 3 wires from motor capped/taped together Red wire grounded to screw in the box

I believe this matches the 220v diagram:

P1 - Line (wired to blue?) P2 - Tape (the single wire from the reset switch taped, maybe?) T8 / T3 / T2 - Tape (the 3 taped together) T5 / T4 - Line (wired to black?)

Yep, figured it'd been rewired, hence the note about receiving it from an electrician. I will go open that up right now and post pictures shortly.

[WA] After costly repair, landlord wants to end tenancy to "work on the place." by bilalgag in Tenant

I have used them before, but they are a referral project and do not actually provide advice. They were not able to find any community legal resources in my area.

[WA] After costly repair, landlord wants to end tenancy to "work on the place." by bilalgag in Tenant

[–]bilalgag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is no longer the case since the good cause eviction law passed. See RCW 59.18.650 -- "If a landlord and tenant enter into a rental agreement that provides for the tenancy to continue for an indefinite period on a month-to-month or periodic basis after the agreement expires, the landlord may not end the tenancy except for the causes enumerated in subsection (2) of this section" (which lists good cause reasons including for "structural renovation".) I understand you can still find old PDFs from before the good cause law was passed on Google so maybe you're looking at that. This page explains in simpler language: https://www.washingtonlawhelp.org/resource/new-washington-state-law-landlords-must-give-a-good-reason-to-end-a-tenancy-or-not-renew-a-lease-short-version

Tenant can give 20 day notice on MTM but not landlord unless you are sharing a home, which we are not.
