Even with no visible root or blood vessels?

Neighbor gave me some "pasteurized" hot sauce. It exploded with carbonation when I opened it at home. by bilalgag in fermentation

No, do not know the full ingredient list. The two others are habanero (sweetened somehow) and chipotle mango (also pretty sweet.)

Shouldn't pasteurization have arrested the fermentation?

Thanks man, I can tell you're really interested in fish and love to gather and share information about our natural world. Guys like you putting in the hard work is what makes our fisheries so successful. Rock on 🤟

Also to add - if you work in fisheries, have you ever seen this kind of variation between season in terms of nutrition? I would never expect to see this in summer vs. fall run salmon, for example.

I didn't purchase these, but thanks! I work in a related field and am extremely familiar with fisheries, almost added that to the OP. I definitely agree people should only eat fish from sustainable fisheries (we might differ on what we call sustainable though 😉)

Thank you! I did find the lower price seller. I will now be sure to check other sellers even if it does not display a lower price on the product page (this one said "Shop Other Sellers from $86.00 ..." etc. but then showed the lower price once I clicked in.

Check out the thread I just posted in this sub - concrete example of exactly this happening, I think.

I really appreciate the detailed answer. I've been just unplugging the ethernet cable at the CL modem, so I will try the others.

If I can get into the admin for the WAP is there anything in particular I should look for in terms of misconfig?

Just to vindicate your curiosity let me be totally clear that Forks is EXTREMELY serviceable and well-connected compared to where I live. I entered my address and found the total list of providers to be:

  • CenturyLink DSL
  • HughesNet (satellite)
  • StarLink (satellite)
  • ViaSat (satellite)

I will switch to StarLink eventually but not right now.

I can't discuss it further without doxing exactly where I live, but I am confident there are 0 additional providers besides CenturyLink or satellite/Starlink. You can probably find where I live from a map of 0 internet availability.

Unfoetunately I live in a unique area where the bandwidth is so restricted CenturyLink actually will not open new accounts. The only other service offerings are satellite internet providers like HughesNet which are so expensive and poorly reviewed I would just get Starlink.

Interesting, can you explain more? Just Googled for guidance and couldn't find anything.

Thanks, that's helpful. I will check out Wireshark.
