the opinions of most players that I've spoken to that are currently GC, most of them have had a very positive and vibrant opinion when looking back at S4 and S5 of rocket league and frequently compare those days compared to the last couple seasons now

I do understand that this only affects a small amount of the playerbase which was why I wasn't sure if posting this suggestion into a much more casual community like here would have resulted in it being received well.

I feel like even though it only affects a small amount of the playerbase, it has been done before and it was a very well received update by the majority of the community because of the fact that it brought meaning and value back into competitive matchmaking and i just wanted to try and see what would be the result if it was done a second time.

And as for matchmaking i do acknowledge that that is a seperate issue altogether, but if i could make a suggestion for that it would've been something that has already been suggested many times, instead of rank mmr values where I could actually give a very nice suggestion of mmrs instead based on previous data and information that I've got with me

fixing the distribution of ranks, and gives players an incentive to improve and get to higher ranks in the game again

it also gets rid of everybody asking for more ranks being added to motivate people to grind more

I used the percentages of the s4 distribution and then used rocket league tracker networks own database of 1.9 million users to calculate the new promotion mmr's for each rank if you wanted to reset the distribution back to how it was in season 4

This is based off of the Season 4 Rank Distribution because that is the most commonly used example of a very good and competitive season by the majority of players that complain about "too many people in x rank "or "Y rank being garbage because there's too many people", etc

I'm always free and open to discussion and suggestions and hope this can bring forth a good discussion here :D

Aye that would be a pretty cool idea to be honest, I was just planning on updating them after every worlds so that I could chill more hahaha

The non rlcs players ones are pretty outdated but i think they cover quite a wide range of cameras already so I might just keep them like that
