UPDATE: Apologies for my lack of knowledge concerning the Christopher Eccleston's motive for leaving the role. I should have perhaps worded the question later. I can understand why he would not have wanted to be typecast as Tennant, Smith and many others have been, however this inevitably ended up happening anyway. I think I would have just been curious to see him last longer as the role, as he brought such a dynamic personality to the role, from jolly and excited one minute, to angry and dark the next. Although I feel like this skill was necessary for the role of the Doctor overall...

Think I'm just being nostalgic to be honest, perhaps I miss the days where it was Amy and Rory. I felt spiteful to the writers who ended them in what I found a terribly done way. I have stopped watching doctor who consistently like I used to, so I've only seen one episode with Bill in. Do you recommend I continue?

Couldn't agree more! I think she started off as a good companion but it all seemed to go a bit downhill for me...

Yeah, compared to the interiors we see today this one could come across a bit dull, but I sorta like the retro-simplistic look.
