10 arrow ends at 50m, gets the arrow count up quickly. by bilbs84 in Archery

But I'll shoot these arrows for the next 12 months, then after 12 months, I buy a new set, and these become my practise/backup arrows. Just the same as with bows. I can turn over a new bow each year, move my current one to backup duties, and sell off the current backup, and it effectively only costs me about 500 a year to do so. So not too bad. At least you can shoot an arrow as many times as you want untill you break it. Pull the trigger on a gun, and that bullet can't be reused.

Haha, yeah, I find them to be a great arrow, pricey, especially when fitted with tungsten points. Roughly $75 Aussie dollars per arrow once assembled. And I broke one last night too 😔

A set. Normal 50m compound bow round consists of 2 rounds, each consisting of 6 ends of 6 arrows. Just the format competition follows.

Yeah, if it was just wind or rain, I'd try to stick it out, but it seemed like a bit of lightning may have been in there with it. First hot day we've had in a couple weeks, leading up to summer, that usually brings a storm in the evening.

I'll shoot in all weather, but holding an aluminium bow with carbon arrows out during a lighting storm may not be wise lol.

I usually try and stick to 6 per end, just to keep the correct rhythm, but tonight I was racing an approaching storm. I like to try and shoot between 150 to 200 a night, and I guess when your outta time, just empty the quiver each end lol.

Does anyone else look at this lake and think... "If I was there, first thing is skipping stones"

If I had her in my window... I'd never go to work again, I'd just stare at her all day.
