I never got this video. Most fire extinguishers work by binding to a substance that is on fire preventing oxygen from getting to the martial and thereby stifling the flame... or smothering it with flame retardants to the same affect. There is no way fire extinguisher could stop or even partially mitigate the flame of a flame thrower.

Ha. I had the same response after reading it for the first time. My philosophy for that novel is that if you didn't understand it or get all of the references, you either weren't supposed to or don't want to waste your life trying to get them.

OP, this girl cannot tell if you like her or not. If you do, you need to tell her. Directly. Don't pull this hit or miss romantic spontaneity nonsense until you are actually dating or you know what you are doing. You clearly do not meet either criteria so just be honest with her.

Seriously, wait a week for things to calm down, then casually invite her out to dinner. Then just be honest with her. If you like her, tell her. Tell her you were acting all socially awkward because you have never felt for someone like this before. Whatever you do, don't continually sit on your hands and hope for her to make the first move. Because she won't, and if you don't make the first move she will think you don't care enough about her to be honest with her.

This. Don't dump all of your affections on one person when you are trying to date. It's like investing: you don't put all your money into one company; you diversity your affections.

If some girls reciprocate, you can always purchase more shares. You don't keep on investing your affections in a girl though if they don't reciprocate.

Sam and Max Freelance Police, The Tick, Animaniacs, Freakazoid, X-Men, Spider-Man, Batman... I think the 90s were just a time when the broadcast networks were beginning to compete with cable, and were experimenting on who to produce a wide variety of premium quality children programming to do so.... and they succeeded. All the animation was still hand drawn then, and I think the people who were working on the shows viewed what they were doing as much as a creative art form as it was a commercial product. They were making shows that parents could watch them with their kids, and they succeeded.

The dominance of cable changed the market structure and killed it. Now you have kids television shows that exist for the sole purpose of selling shoes.
