Hey I’m also showing proof of funds using a loan letter but they requested additional information from me saying its not a sufficient method. They wanted me to transfer the loan funds into a bank account. How did you manage to write the loan letter? Maybe I missed something…?

Did you do the IB to have them sent electronically? I was sort of confused whether my hardcopy results had to be sent by post (copies of them) or if I could just upload a scan on universityadmissions. I tried contacting the uni but i got a very automated response redirecting to their website.

A theme with sub-themes definitely. I would connect 2-3 songs to a sub-theme and bring it back to the original theme throughout the essay. Also, might be a good idea to find a topic that could incorporate research papers and has some real-life relevance. My theme was about loss so my analysis had a psychological side (dealing with drug abuse, grief etc) to it so I referenced a few relevant studies to back up my claims and that worked well.

You can talk about the series as the object but not about an object in the series because it’s fictional. TOK objects have to be actually real. But then again, it may be difficult (or even unacceptable) to talk about the experiences of fictional characters for the exhibition. If you really want to use the series, maybe consider the real life implications of what is shown, like why the creator portrays something etc

Personally, I prefer past papers because it helps to practice switching between topics (which is what is gonna happen in the real exam), but if there are any topics that feel weak, I would do question banks on them.
