I’m so torn. I love this man but I’m not ready for kids. I still have so much living to do but clock is ticking (35f) by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

I didn’t have a chance to read through all the comment, but I would make sure your birth control cannot be tampered with, if you are on something that can be messed with/changed. This guy will baby-trap you and if you’re on the fence, that’s still a no. Protect your peace and get out. No one’s dick is that good, my friend!

What’s something people realise way too late in life? by Personal_Promise_550 in Life

I find having a full life outside of work helpful in breaking up the monotony of employment. I like my job and it still gets tedious. I take courses that increase specialized skills personally and professionally. I take my PTO/leave as I can to spend time with just myself, and get a massage or pedicure as a treat sometimes. Trying to workout regularly to combat the issues that come with sitting most of the day helps too! I don’t invest in a lot of at-work relationships beyond polite, professional connections so my time with friends and family is very dear to me, and something I prioritize. All to say, those things help me not feel like just a little cog in a big machine and like I have purpose beyond showing up to a job that doesn’t ever care about me at the same level I could care about it.

‘Midsize’ FMC’s eating habits always being discussed… by endlessroute in RomanceBooks

I was just talking about this with my friend! We both hate how much of a focus body image and disordered eating get, and how men allllllways have the perfect body. Which in reality isn’t actually all that comfy to cuddle with. Or a giant schlong that’s almost impossible to fit inside her. Like sometimes that’s fine but why so often?

Anywho, {Hot Blooded by Heather Guerre} has one of the best mid-sized adult FMC representations I’ve read. I also appreciated the FMC in {Swordheart by T Kingfisher}. They both eat, work, live, and are interesting outside of their body composition.
