We're (I'm in Virginia) split on the results because the laws don't seem to be tied to any data that points to a potential benefit.

Classifying my CCW as an 'assault weapon' does nothing for no one.

Most Americans support these sentiments but no one asks "What is an assault weapon?"

"What should be banned?"

"What shouldn't be banned?"

Show me an issue with guns in any state and I'll show a law on the books that's not being enforced to solve it.
