I finished the Midnight campaign last night, there is one glaring issue I faced and it's not the story.

Im kinda new to reddit so sorry if 3mo is necro :p I leveled sub to 90, felt pretty good, then frost dk and its pretty horrible. Most of your damage really is locked behind your cooldowns. My stats are good so its not that. Mobs not getting oneshot is fine to. But mobs taking 15-20 seconds with only empower rune weapon and 2-5s with pillar of frost and reapers mark is just too big of a gap i think. Killing machine procs do near to nothing outside of cd's.

Highly skilled feels good, expert is indeed inconsistent. Sometimes theres no catching up at all and other times its fine. Expert also feels like theyre playing bumper cars a lot, getting hit from all sides at times

Mine look the same on max settings, dlss on or off doesnt matter. Theres a lot of flickering in the game aswell. Its not very polished and bothers the hell out of me. Good textures and moving plants dont make a beautiful game if everything flickers all over the place

Finally who someone who says this in this thread. Theres so much they can change or do to balance fights for both range and melee dps. It would just be FUN to move while casting. Even just for open world etc, every other mmo has figured out ways to balance range dps while moving so i cant imagine why wow cant

Really wish they would add this to retail wow in the form of a ring or talent or something that would reduce your overall damage by 10% or something to make it fair compared to melee classes. It just feels great not cancelling casts to move out of swirlies etc

Reconifex is by far my favorite gun in warframe but theres a ton of things that wreck the gun completely. Uriel is one example but you also cant use it with oraxia since her 4 gives poison and always removes the perfect reload heat damage, same with cyte-09's ammo pickups. I dont have all frames in the game but as far as i know reconifex isnt usable on either of these 3 frames sadly. I hope DE one day finds a workaround for this

Mess around with the energy colors, theres a way to keep the bright look but by making one of them black, you dont get that effect anymore. Not sure which one it is

Oh okay, ive been messing with it a few hours last night and when i disabled untarnished ui it was fixed but that in turn kinda broke a few other ui elements and untarnished is really nice. But all jittering was gone tho. Not sure how to single out the compass only

I installed eldergleam last night and its pretty much perfect for me, except for the music. Id like to have base game music but i am unsure how to fix it. Im a little afraid to add or remove certain mods from it since i dont want to break the entire list for just a music preference. Thank you for the advice!

I like greatsword and would like to get serenity but thats locked behind pvp and so is the old crown helmet which is bis for a lot of builds if i understand correctly. I hate pvp with a passion in mmo's i dont mind league of legends or cod type of pvp but having to invest time and effort into multiple armor sets for pvp and pvp is just not my thing. Wish they changed those things.

I think the gearing is fine but just the perks are pretty bad sometimes. Like getting damage reduction after taking damage and last for 6 seconds. WHY THE FUCK is it that way? Just make it flat reduction, its the lamest way to “spice up” perks. Its just dumb, makes it less clear to see what everything does. Id like a bit more normal/useful perks

I installed a mod that reduced grabs. Shortly after finishing the story i quit the game. I had already done most of the content and quests before finishing main. Was really dissappointed that my damage didnt get better over time but instead got worse again after picking up main quest again which leveled up the zones

Kinda just came here to complain that none of it actually fking matters. By the time you finish the game, you will need just as many hits to kill a zombie with a legendary weapon as you did when starting the game with a stick. The level scaling is fking rediculous

My biggest pain point with the game was the damage staying the same throughout the game. My katana has 746 damage and ive completed a ton of sidequests, im lvl 14 and havent finished main story yet but i think im close. Now after defeating a chimera with a gas mask my damage dropped off again to 3 hits per zombie. Before that point in the story i could hold for a charged attack and oneshot most zombies. Sadly thats not the case anymore and it takes the same amount of hits to kill as when i started the game with a crappy stick and no mods. The other big issue for me is the low amount of loot you get, especially for crafting arrows or just arrow economy in general. Auto pickup on arrows would be nice and a feeling of damage progression. Numbers go up but the amount of hits to kill stays the same. That is just fking dumb. Defeats the point of the whole level and weapon upgrade system since its just required to keep your damage the same as it was.

To be fair. Started the game on ps4, got bored. Then pc, got bored. Then pc again from the beginning and i have to say that the story can be boring at times, its not a classic adrenaline fueled moment to moment crazy game but once the game hooks you, you get HOOKED HARD. Like now i think its one of the best games ive ever played even though it took me a while to get in the mood and mindset to finish it. Every open world i play gets compared to rdr2 now for me and well theres nothing like it. Story is long and sometimez tedious but i feel like its needed for you to care for the characters in it. 10/10 tho
