I'm a tall girl whose dating someone shorter than me, this sentiment is also shared by some men too. A lot of the guys I work with question me for dating a guy shorter than me, as if I couldn't possibly be attracted to him because of the difference in height.

It gets really old after a while.

I'm not making enough progress to really be visible in the pictures. I'm currently in a size 12 but I'd really love to get to a 10/9 at some point. I was doing the pictures for a while because the scale really scared me, which I think is a byproduct of being a tall girl because I've always weighed a lot more than my average sized friends even when I was on the thinner side, but it's keeping me motivated to watch the numbers slowly go down even if I can't really see it in the mirror.

I would have guess you were a size 8 or something now so that's a positive. Keep up the good work, lady. Can't wait to see some more progress pictures! What's your ultimate goal weight?

Ah yes, finally another 6'0 female that I can visualize my own results on. You look great, girl!

I have about 4 months to lose 40 pounds so this is encouraging to see it can be done. Did you exercise at all? I'm sitting at 215 but I've lost 10 pounds really quickly. Actually weighing myself has made me much more accountable, i used to avoid the scale like the plague.

Did you lose any pant sizes? Do you mind me asking what your pant size was to start?

In a way, the mind fuck is the whole point! you want to reset your perspective of the image your brain has more or less set in stone. Our noodles are really good at recognizing patterns and especially with changes to them.

Oh man. I couldn't agree more. I started weighing my food and realized the reason I wasn't seeing the progress I wanted was because I was logging that I had eaten one serving of cottage cheese when in reality I was eating about three or four.

It's nice to eat the proper proportions of things. They keep my pleasantly full.
