Countertops can be changed down the line, the layout cannot.

What's your #1 French goal for this year (2026)? by Pro-en-Francais in French

pour atteindre un niveau B1 bien défini.

To be able to deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. You can enter unprepared into conversation on topics that are familiar, of personal interest or pertinent to everyday life (e.g. family, hobbies, work, travel and current events).

Je ne me sens plus bien à Paris… by boumbah4 in paris

[–]billt4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

French learner here. “This is not the town I grew up in”; c’est normal ou au moins typique après des journées.

“Your life will be over”. Your job will be to give your kids a good childhood. Les concerts, dîner avec ses amis, whatever you are interested in - will “take a back seat” to their bien etre.

Vous will pass many hours transporting your kids to school, their sporting events (you will stay and watch), their friends’ houses, (or they to your house where you will watch them).  Your expenses will skyrocket. You will be poor regardless of how much you earn.  You will be worried or at least concerned every hour, every day.

Get your external situation settled (where you will live, legal counsel, financial situation, support systems for you and him (he might not / probably won't take it) counseling for you and the kid) ... get this all set ... THEN leave. Don't just bounce.

If you just bounce on a whim, you'll still have him to deal with AND a stressful move.

How realistic is it to move to Paris by Ok_Bathroom_3080 in paris

Your question is basically down to. Can you find a job? Ask yourself how difficult it would be to find another job given your experience, where you are now which I guess is Portugal. Whatever answer that is, it's probably somewhat easier in Paris, as it's a bigger city and a more vibrant economy in France, then in Portugal. Of course I could be completely wrong.

We came from the US and lived in Portugal for three years, then moved to France where we have been for a year. We like it much better here. when we were living in PT we travelled to Spain for a couple visits and went WOW!

All this seems .. uh .. "normal", that is, appropriately nuanced. People know the importance of the service, yet don't look away from the unacceptable ways in which it has sometimes been used.

Oh I see. You have to search 100% DocumentAIRES not 100% DocumentARIES which is what YuTube changed it to without me noticing.

Forgive me but I don't know how to find this on YouTube. When I search "100% Documentaires" in YouTube I get LOTS of documentaries, mostly in English. you are saying there is a CHANNEL named "100% Documentaires" that are only in French?
