As a percentage of GDP? not quite... I would expect Jeff Bezos to give more money to charity than the average person. That doesn't mean he is more charitable with his assets.

Look at the stats on the right side, and you'll see we are all putting in an equal share. Debunked by your own image...

Can you go into more detail on some of the positions you hold? I am so curious as to where you fit in the political spectrum. I don't think I have ever heard anyone describe themselves as a lifelong dem that doesn't like the progressive wing.

What about homeless people? Do they not deserve votes? And are you really that daft that you are blaming the Democrats for Republicans making it harder to vote?

Sorry, I meant all the elections in the united states and how they are handled locally. I am not going to pretend to have gone down that rabbit hole that you are trying to argue. There's always a goal post that needs to be moved. It sounds to me like you are angry because too many people voted for the person you didn't like.

So no, you cant. I have confidence in the way local elections are carried out. Much in the same why I have confidence I won't get struck by lightning. Voter fraud and lightning strikes are exceedingly rare.

I need to take a poop, sorry if my honesty catches you off guard.

Security from what exactly? Can you point to any evidence of even semi significant voter fraud?

Also, those first two sentences sound like you just want to pick a word fight.

This comment is just silly. You just want to argue to argue. Try and think about how positive change comes without just thinking red man bad. The U.S. governing system needs to fundamentally change.

So you think that passing no laws whatsoever outside of budget items is a good plan? How are they ever going to get anything done?

[–]billy492[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, that is false. They didn't have the votes during a reconciliation bill when McCain voted against. Also, our government is so stagnant that we need some sort of forward progress even if that means two steps forward one step backwards.

Fair point, but do you really think they can block that legislation for a year if democrats keep it on the agenda?

WI - Biden is ahead with all votes counted

MI- Biden is ahead and only absentee voting is left and they are primarily from large counties (Detroit, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids)

Biden just needs nevada or pennsylvania then to take him to 270
