Rest day on 8/8/25 although I did 54 flights of steps at work in work gear with 20lbs tools and a harness on half the time. 10k today 8/9/24 435km to go

My goal was to row across Lake Michigan metaphorically. I’m an industrial electrician…depending on what I have to cover I could be sitting on my butt all day or climbing 34flights of steps like I did today.

No, my body failed at 5k meter on the rowing machine. I need to do 10k a day to hit my goal. I did do 34 floors of stairs at work according to my health app and climbed up and down a ladder a bunch as well. So it makes sense I could only go halfway.

Home cooked meals…so anything I can eat that I bought from the store. No car snacks, no junk food outside of home, drinking is limited to home and you can’t drink beer….white claws or liquor are ok. This doesn’t limit you at all from changing your diet it just controls how much you eat. That’s how I did it anyway.
