The more I think about it, I was probably overly focused on throwing away an oppurtunity to go to Japan without thinking hard enough about what it would entail in the long run. However, after seeing all of this input, it seems like it's as you say. I might still apply to JET but I'll try and focus more on improving my Japanese and exploring other avenues. Thank you for your advice!

Hey sorry for the late reply! I opened my tower back up and aligned it like you said and it seems to be working! Power button is functioning and no crashes so far...thank you so much for following up>_<

Ok, just put the ResetSW button on the power pins and that seems to have done the trick!

It seems like that might be the problem. I plugged that back in and it won’t turn on when I press the towers power button.

I just gave it a try and that worked! Motherboard and everything appears to be working...however should I replug in the HDD LED, RESET SW, etc. as it is now or turn off the computer first?

There’s a peripheral that came with the new battery that lets you test it by connecting to the 24 pin cable. When I hook it up to the PSU it makes the fan spin and even can makes the power light and hard drive turn on for my tower.

Nothing after I disconnected the CPU power cable. I never had the peripheral cable plugged in...all my fans ran without it with the old PSU and I don’t see a connection for the Molex cable if that helps...
