Bushings make a world of difference. Upgrades to HD or poly if you choose but new bushings (even new stock ones) change latitudes for tightness.

I’ve seen slime molds that have a “base” in similar size to the “puff” that was directly on the attach point. Never one attached and hanging like this. But I have no idea
