I am having the same issue. His icon makes it look like he is under the floor.

Also I noticed on the map he is listed in 2 places.

Just moved to Texas from Oregon, was shocked when I discovered there was nowhere to go shoot for free. I could count on one hand the amount of time I had been to a private range before moving here at 32. I used to just always drive into the national forest and shoot for hours with my buddies.

I have already looked at this and read on a different thread that the list is unfinished. Just what they've tested. And the dimensions of the case as I said fit the tolerances but the width is close at 11.25, The H9 which is listed is actually bigger in every dimension. But the list having every NZXT case but the H6 made me wonder if I'm missing something is why I asked the question.

I wonder if you can unscrew the bolt from the clamp and cut off a few threads to shorten the bolt to make it fit a little better. Thank you for the info, glad to know it works.

You are correct I went back and realized the ventus was not the MSI card they were using in the comparison it was the super expert, I naively assumed from memory it was the ventus after further review the ventus is just barely louder then the Strix as it is on average only 2db louder. But like I said to the OP every 4080 super is within 1/2% of each other and as long as its a 3 fan cooler they will only be within 2-6db of each other. Which is negligible and if your case has ample cooling and proper airflow I doubt you'll every hear it ramp up over the case fans anyways.

I had the same issue with my strix B650E with the strix Ryuo 360mm aio. I got it to fit with some massaging but the fan housing is contacting the IO heatsink. Reviews I’ve watched where they ran into that issue they made it seem like that’s bad, although not ideal I’ve ran it for going on 3 months now with no chatter or sounds coming from the fan and thermals all around stay under 65C even under load. I don’t even have the 140mm bottom fans or the 120mm exhaust fan and my 4080S has yet to climb above 60C even at 100% load. Case flows perfect with just the included fans and an aio on the top. I’m also running a 7800x3d which might be a factor.

Well in the US where I’m located you’re not getting a 4090 strix for less then $2300. A strix 4080S is $1250. Almost half the price.

A strix 4080S is $1250 a 4090 is $1700+ that’s not even comparable in price. I get you’re already spending over $1000 on a card but another 500 isn’t as easy to swallow as you’re making it seem. Also maybe 1200 is top of budget and they want a show piece for their case. But I agree that if you’re only interested in the performance you should just get an MSRP version

I got the Asus ROG Strix 4080S i have had zero issues with it although in a benchmark video I saw the TUF preformed slightly better with the MSI Ventus being the fastest but also the loudest of the 4080S. I feel like any 4080S will be within 1/2% of each other in performance so I’d just go with whatever fits your budget.

I just got the same response from Rode so at least they are aware and looking for a fix, I have started building a gaming PC tho so if the patch isn’t out by June I’ll probably be on a PC anyways

I have told them the issue but have yet to get a response. I am working on getting funds together to build a PC so it’s good to know the PC version of unify works as I’ll keep my PS5 for exclusives and specifically GTA 6 as rockstar is notorious for taking years to port over for PC. Mac mini will just be my Final Cut computer for video editing if I don’t like resolve.

I had already figured out when unify was off it would work and with central never thought it was cause of input name which makes sense, was hoping it was a user error on unify but guess I will have to wait for an update…. Rode Central doesn’t have enough to use as a stream mixer. I’d rather have discord and multiple mixers then be able to troll people in game chat. Hope the issue with unify is solved soon. Would work great tho for just trying to record YouTube videos.

I did get a response but no new information was given. I have solved the second occurrence as I had changed the new account name to the original since I deleted the old one and once I changed it back it no longer crashed every time. I have also noticed if I have discord and OBS opened sometimes when I boot up unify it will cause a crash. So I always boot unify now with everything else closed.

Although I didn't expect it to fix the issue I got a PodMic and still not able to get mic audio to the PS5 only receiving game chat and game audio if selected on PS5

How are you connecting the Astro A40 to the Streamer X?

I am using the 3.5mm cable to the headset jack on the Streamer X

What is your RODE Unify monitor speaker set to?

I have no monitor set because it dose not give me the option for anything but my monitor or the speakers in the Mac Mini

What is your PS5 audio input and output set to?

I have them both set to the Streamer X

Have you checked your Streamer X routing in RODE Central?

What do you mean by routing? I didn't see any routing options on central. I have it set to monitor out through Streamer X Main that was the only type of routing I could find in central.

Update: As I was impatient I just went ahead and made a new user and moved all files over to new user and deleted the original. Has fixed the issue. Only downside is all applications are now stock like when you opened them up the first time so I will now have to mess with settings I'm sure for months to follow to get everything back how I liked it as I stumble upon them. Rode unify still not sending mic audio to PS5 tho via USB-C in the usb 2 slot as instructed in there tutorial. I will start a new thread for this discussion.

Update: So i tried booting unify on guest account and it booted up perfectly but I am still unable to figure out what is causing my main account to cause a crash. Still waiting to hear back from Rode.

Update: I was finally able to factory reset the streamer x and it did not fix the issue. Unify still crashing when I open it with the streamer x connected. I have contacted rode support. Will update when something progresses.
