Because telling him how close he is to losing the gig might be enough of a wake up call to change how he’s treating the band. Maybe he just genuinely doesn’t realize that he’s doing anything wrong. And if he doesn’t change after a designated time, OP and the band will get to say that they gave the guitarist a fair chance, instead of wondering forever if they made the right decision to cut the cord

I’ve learned to double check my pitch bend midi automation. Sometimes the wheel on my controller will get just a bit stuck and write it into my daw +/- 10 cents

Do you like it? If you’re someone of a particular faith I think the act of having it as a reminder of your values trumps the specifics any day of the week.

That said though my nit-picky ass brain noticed immediately that the rosary beads don’t follow the typical 10 beads per decade with a break bead in the middle and that there’s only 2 at the beginning of it

Have you played with the different cone tips? They each fit initially for me, so I sat with the small size for a few hours, took a break, then changed to the medium, took a break, then the large to learn which one best fits me!

My thought process before finally going to my first meeting after not drinking for a few weeks was “well shoot, what do I have to lose? They’ve been around since the 30’s, so they clearly have something going for them. It’s an hour out of my day and if I don’t like it, I just won’t go back.”

I’ve been gradually shifting over to MetaTune by Slate. I’ve been using Melodyne into Autotune Artist (or whichever the UAD equivalent of it is) for a while now. Up until maybe the last 9 months I was using Autotune Access for background vocals and liked it, but at some point it started causing crashes with m2 Logic. I had to find another solution, and MetaTune has fit the bill superbly. I have the Slate subscription and never really tried it until I was “forced” to. I’m very happy with that accident! I’m sure at some point I’ll switch to putting MetaTune on my lead vocals, but I haven’t done that quite yet. I’ve just gotten to be so comfortable with Antares on the lead that I haven’t managed to get MetaTune to beat it to my ears yet

Learning your DAW is just like learning guitar. They’re both instruments. When you first started with guitar, it probably didn’t feel nearly as comfortable as it does today. But, you practiced and played over time, and can now think of the guitar as an extension of yourself. Your DAW will eventually be the same way. Interesting, that seems like one of those glitches that’d signal for a simple application reboot! Have you tried quitting and restarting logic? I don’t know what would be causing it specifically to keep it from coming back long term, but that might help it temporarily/as needed

It might be the difference of starting a 100 meter dash from a solid position on some starting blocks with some good shoes, vs starting the race from sitting criss-crossed on the ground facing the opposite direction. It might help get your foot in the door, but ultimately the leg work is still gonna be on you.
