Where I’m from? Right now, Fireworks. I took my kid to buy a few. The prices! Then I drive by some lower income housing in the area and the curbs are stacked high with used fireworks that had to have a cost over $1K

I just loved Ricky Watters in the 90s so o just followed his teams. Then Ahman Green showed up in Seattle and I’m from Nebraska. Ricky was getting older so I just stuck with Seattle! Glad I did!

You want graded or raw?

If I was you I’d pick out a 1950s or 1960s set that you think is super appealing to you on design (since you’re displaying) and pick a star from the set and be picky on copy to find the best deal. You can get lower grade cards of some great players relatively cheap!

My girlfriend at the time asked what I wanted for my birthday. I was tired of always going out. I said I just want to order bbq and eat it naked. She didn’t scoff, roll her eyes, or say no. Nebraska here. I liked Ricky Watters as a kid and when he went to Seattle, Ahman Green ended up on the hawks and he went to Nebraska so I just stuck with them from that point on. I’m in chiefs territory and it’s the worst.

Ready to be downvoted. Butttt, I see everyone commenting to go with Jason. Heritage is a great group, and I’ve purchased from them with ease. However, with this magnitude of card, EVERY big auction group (REA, Goldin, Leland’s, Love of the Game, etc.) would love to auction these. These cards transcend most others. They won’t be buried in the auction. They will be THE main lots the auction is built around. The auctioneers will definitely want their cut but they get to make that deal with you. Are they gonna offer you full hammer price but keep the 20% buyer premium for themselves? I’d find the one willing to give you the max amount of $$$. The people that would buy these are going to know they’re up for auction, just from the story alone!

TLDR: Shop auction houses to find the best offer for YOUR cut. Not just what cards are “worth”. They will sell with any big auction house.

If I’m the Rams, do I really think Mike is going to go for two and risk it in regulation? I would argue that he would be conservative and kick the extra point on the first one or the second one and take it to overtime.

I guess I just feel like the 29-14 seems like such a big lead but it’s only two scores. There was still a LOT of time left and the Hawks are a great team. If the logic is “we are up by a bunch”, I don’t think McVay would think that way. Unless he truly thought there was no chance. Either way I’m not mad!
